That said, the state has acknowledged that those levels aren’t keeping up with the expenses faced in the industry.

For that reason, Nevada is changing its minimum liability requirements as of July 1. This is the result of passing Senate Bill 308. Now, the minimums have risen to $25,000 for bodily injury per person, $50,000 for bodily injury per accident, and $20,000 for property damage (represented as 25/50/20), .

Many drivers already have policies that meet the 25/50/20 minimum auto insurance liability requirement.
